Christmas Magnets

I’ve had so much fun putting fun vintage photos and sayings together to come up with some Christmas magnets. Here are a few favorite. These are for sale in my Etsy shop, in a few local shops in Lincoln, NE, or you can leave a comment if you find one you like here.

Etsy Update

I’ve decided to revive my Etsy store. I currently have added several magnets.  If you are local to Lincoln, you can pick up your order at Simply Bungalow and not have shipping. Hope these give you a laugh!Click on the Etsy tab in the side bar to see all that’s in the shop.

Family

I may have to start paying my family royalties since I tend to use old photos of them. This picture is inspired by a photo I’ve always thought was fun. It is my sister in law and brother in law. Of course now, it would be considered child abuse to tie a small child to a bike without a helmet! I hope you don’t mind Scott and Karla :) The inside of the card reads:  “Enjoy the Ride”

Then there’s my mom. I’ve already put her in a jar as a fairy that you can see here. With that same photo I’ve made many things which you can see here. This particular photo sits in my living room in a little frame. Isn’t she just gorgeous!?!Here are a few other things done with family photos:  This is my grandmother. This is a great-great grandmother. My mom and dad. . .My sister. . .My brother. . .My husband and father in law. . .

Just so you know. None of the old photos of crazy old people are family. THAT might be crossing the line!

Bwha-ha-ha-ha!

These magnets were so much fun to create.Love this saying!!This enamel ware made for a great piece. The hat, bird, and quote all are magnets that can be removed. I need to make more of these that are interchangeable! Here’s a wreath fit for any haunted house’s front door.

Trick or Treat!More Magnets

The final “tour” post!

Wow! If you’ve stuck with me on this, I hope your not too tired to see the last bit. This may be the most cluttered corner of the room. I love my suitcases! They look so cool and are great storage. And yes, more enamelware for storage too.Looking up you’ll see this view. Here’s a peek inside the cabinet.I used to keep all my ribbon spools in there but then came up with this beautiful and functional way to keep ribbon. I love it!These shelves are clear plastic frames turned upside down to hold my clear stamps.Above that I have a stash of vintage finds that I plan to put little paper flowers in. I think I need to quit buying and start making!Above that are these muffin tins. I just used dowel sticks to hold them up.Here’s a peek at what’s inside one. Some of my paper roses waiting for stems.I think this may be my new thing to collect. I love using old fibers on cards. This is the back of my door.Above the door is where I display the magnets I’ve made.I do have one more corner that is my husband’s favorite spot to read.I even have stuffed stashed behind there. This room is my studio; my place to work; my place to play; my place to relax; my place to hide. This last photo shows you it is my haven! Thanks so much for letting me show you my space. I think I appreciate it so much more after posting all of this. Blessings!
