Time for a Give Away!!

In celebration of getting over 200 likes on Facebook, I am having a give away!  You can sign up three ways.

1. pin one of these cards to pinterest

2. like me or share my page on facebook

3. add my button to your blog

You can do one or all three. Be sure to leave me a comment letting me know what you’ve done.

As a bonus, I’ll enter your name an additional 2 times if you send me an old photo that is humorous that I could use in future cards.

I’ll draw the winner on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17th!

Here are the cards in the give away.Inside sentiment reads: “Does this tie make me look stupid?”

Inside sentiment:  ”You go first!”

Inside Sentiment: “There you are.”

Sassy Ladies

As promised here are some more vintage cards.

Vintage Photos

Vintage photos + great quotes = my new hobby! I love, love making these cards.I often try to add vintage ephemera as well. Some photos are just incredible! Did this little kid really smoke that pipe? They never smiled back then! Here’s a few more.I’ll be back soon with more of these to share.

Family

I may have to start paying my family royalties since I tend to use old photos of them. This picture is inspired by a photo I’ve always thought was fun. It is my sister in law and brother in law. Of course now, it would be considered child abuse to tie a small child to a bike without a helmet! I hope you don’t mind Scott and Karla :) The inside of the card reads:  “Enjoy the Ride”

Then there’s my mom. I’ve already put her in a jar as a fairy that you can see here. With that same photo I’ve made many things which you can see here. This particular photo sits in my living room in a little frame. Isn’t she just gorgeous!?!Here are a few other things done with family photos:  This is my grandmother. This is a great-great grandmother. My mom and dad. . .My sister. . .My brother. . .My husband and father in law. . .

Just so you know. None of the old photos of crazy old people are family. THAT might be crossing the line!
