Books and Bags for Halloween

Couldn’t resist this idea I found on line at mamiejanes.blogspot.com. Here’s my versions.

Here are some bags along the same line.

Take a tour

Oh my goodness! I have been gone way to long from my blog. I hope you haven’t forgotten me! I decided I’d spend the next week giving you a tour of my studio. (That still feels weird to call my little room that!)  It also feels a little weird showing these photos. It seems a little like “showing off.” But one of my most favorite things to browse in magazines is other people’s studios and craft rooms. So, with that in mind, I hope you enjoy my space. This is the view from my door. My space is pretty little and I admit it, I do have a lot of stuff crammed in here. From left to right you’ll see my cricut cutter, sewing machine, computer, and my standing workspace. More on those details later. Today, I’ll focus on my bulletin board. I just gave it a face lift with some new (old) baskets! This old bicycle basket is the PERFECT size for 12 x 12 scrapbook paper. I decided to put my newest, most favorite sheets here for inspiration! Underneath, you’ll see my “clothes line” of misc stuff.Another holds inspiration in form of old photos. I even rotate the photos around every few days for fun. My rusted scissors aren’t very functional but look too cute!My little jars of vintage buttons, rusted paperclips, and pearls are in easy reach in this basket. What goes better than old enamel ware and vintage buttons?Of course you can’t have a bulletin board without photos. The ones I put up are some of my favorite of my family.

Stay tuned for more of the tour. . .
